The pedestrian killed when he was hit by a pickup on First Avenue Sunday has been identified as Scotty Bryan, 36, of Vanderhoof. Bryan and a friend were crossing First Avenue in the 1200-block in Prince George, proceeding from north to south, about 11 p.m. on Oct. 5 when they were struck by an eastbound pickup truck. An explosion and fire at the Pinnacle Pellet plant in Burns Lake this morning has seriously injured three people. The incident occurred just before 9 a.m. Burns Lake RCMP say the three received serious, but non-life threatening injuries as a result of the fire.
