Source robbers nabbed

The Source, on Southridge Avenue, was hit by robbers Saturday afternoon.
Police report that at about 3:55 p.m. a man walked out of the store with a television and a knife in his hand. A second man was waiting in a vehicle outside. Both fled the scene in the vehicle. A short time later police stopped the vehicle at the bottom of Cowart Road. The driver was taken into custody without incident. The passenger was seen with a knife and a baton in his hand. He fled on foot towards the river.
Police surrounded the area and located the man by the river bank. He was taken into custody without incident. Both men are “known to police.”
