Shoppers Drug Mart and Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) will kick off Ride Don’t Hide at Cycle World, 1191 First Avenue on Wednesday.

CMHA invites Prince George to join thousands of Canadians riding their bikes on June 21 in support of mental health. Representatives from Shoppers Drug Mart and CHMA will be on hand to talk about the ride and bringing out 6,000 riders across Canada, including 150 from Prince George.

Their goal is to raise $100,000 for mental health programs.

On June 2 1 thousands of Canadians will get on their bikes and cycle together for mental health in Ride Don’t Hide. The CMHA’s annual cycling fundraiser brings together Canadians of all ages and from all walks of life to help break the stigma and raise funds to improve mental health in their community.

First launched with Michael Schratter’s 40,000 kilometre ride around the globe in 2010, Ride Don’t Hide is a growing national movement with community bike rides in 27 cities across Canada. This year CMHA aims to engage more than 6,000 participants and raise $100,000 for mental health programs. Join the movement and find your local community ride at ridedonthide.com.
