Man charged with uttering threats
One man is in custody following a report at the university yesterday.
On Sunday March 1, at approximately 11:15 am, the Prince George RCMP responded to a report of a man student uttering threats at the University of Northern British Columbia campus in Prince George.
Police attended and arrested a 54-year-old man in the library of the campus. The accused was held in custody until his first appearance in provincial court today.
Alexander Herman Hobart, a Prince George resident, has been charged by provincial Crown counsel with two counts of uttering threats and one count of causing a disturbance.
