Jennifer Brandle-McCall, MA, is the new chief executive officer for the Prince George Chamber of Commerce.
She replaces Sherry Sethen, who is retiring after 17 years with the chamber.
Brandle-McCall has a master’s degree in professional communication as well as experience in supervising support staff in non-profit organizations and educational workplaces as well as business experience in media sales.
“I can appreciate both the challenges and joys of managing and working in a team environment like the Prince George Chamber of Commerce,” she said in a press release.
Brandle-McCall has been a Prince George resident for five years and is a native of Victoria.
“I am deeply passionate about helping our city reach its fullest potential,” she said. “My various volunteer and employment commitments to the Hart Community Association, the Immigrant and Multicultural Services Society and the College of New Caledonia are a few of the indications of my personal dedication towards improving Prince George.”
Chamber president Roy Spooner said Brandle-McCall is a good choice, particularly with her experience in communication.
“As the voice of business the chamber’s primary work is communication,” Spooner said. “We must listen to our members, and the community, articulate a clear message to various levels of government and effectively present the opinions and concerns of business. Jennifer brings an enormous professional capacity to enhance that work.”
Brandle-McCall will start her duties June 14.
