Members of the Fort St. James RCMP Detachment and North District Major Crime Unit are investigating the death of Robert Arthur Prince, 48, of Fort St. James. Prince was located by police and the BC Ambulance Service in front of a Fort St. James residence on August 13. He later died at Prince George Regional Hospital on August 15 as a result of his injuries.
An autopsy was performed in Kamloops on August 19, 2008 and foul play has not been ruled out. Anyone who has any information about the circumstances surrounding Mr. Prince’s injuries are asked to contact Fort St. James RCMP at (250)996-8269 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
