Crews with the City of Prince George worked throughout the day yesterday to sand and salt problem hills and major arterial routes.

Crews continued working through the night, plowing Priority 1 and Priority 2 routes in the Hart.

Work continues today, with crews clearing snow from the ‘Green Zone’, as outlined on the Garbage Collection Map. Crews will begin clearing from Birchwood Dr. heading south, and from Aberdeen Rd. heading north.

In addition to snow clearing operations in the Hart, crews will be out sanding and salting roads and clearing sidewalks throughout the city.
