A visit from Lord Stanley

Jacob Doerkson and the rest of his Spruceland Scotiabank Atom teammates got to spend some time Wednesday evening with the Stanley Cup. The surprise visitor to their dressing room had the players looking to find Wayne Gretzky’s name (not that hard) as well as a Vancouver team (the Millionaires from 1915). Scotiabank made the arrangements for the Cup to be there when the players came in for what they thought was going to be a team picture. It was, with one very important guest. Allan WISHART/Free Press
