Mackenzie teens identified as victims of fatal crash

The BC Coroners Service has confirmed the identities of two teens who died following a motor vehicle incident near McLeod Lake on April 3. Dead are Leslie David Avery Jr., 17, and Ian Daryl Potvin, 16, both of Mackenzie. Leslie Avery was the driver of, and Ian Potvin a passenger in, a car heading northbound on Highway 97 about 6:45 a.m. on April 3. Cougars planning for next season

On the ice, the season is over for the Prince George Cougars. Spruce Kings prospects take to the ice

  For future Prince George Spruce Kings, it starts now. The club’s annual Prospects Camps kicks off today (Friday) at the Coliseum and runs through Sunday afternoon.
