The first thing the curlers from the Yukon Territories noticed about Prince George was something a lot of other athletes at the Canada Winter Games have commented on. “It’s nice in Prince George,” third Bayly Scoffin said. Bill Gaal no longer at city hall

The man who was in the eye of last year’s snow removal storm and who ran point for the city during a very acrimonious labour dispute, has retired. Bill Gaal, the city’s operations manager, retired on Friday. Police not saying much about investigation west of the city
