Randy Thompson, CEO of VA Angels and Start Up Canada’s Prairie Angel of the Year is coming back to Prince George.

He will be attending a couple of workshops on how to get your start-up financed, and then how to grow your company.

“We are very excited to have Randy coming back to Prince George and we’re adding a little bit of an extra event to this visit,” said Marja Sheare of Innovation Central Society. “If you are not available to attend the workshops, you have the opportunity to come to Coach’s Corner on Saturday afternoon for an informal sit down and chit chat with Randy. He’s the guy to answer your questions, in plain language, with a little bit of humour.”

• Friday, 3-7 p.m. - Growing and Scaling a Company Through Sales

Even better than raising money, is selling products. Nothing validates a company better than its sales. The Friday afternoon session will look at various ways to increase sales, using internet, social media, and looking at sale methodologies for improving close rates. Event is taking place at the Training Room at CFDC at 1566 Seventh Avenue.

Saturday, 9 a.m.-2 p.m. - Pitching your Company and/or Product to Investors

Ever wanted to pitch your company but have never found a friendly venue to do it in? Come out Saturday and spend time working on your pitch with other local entrepreneurs and get valuable and candid feedback from Canada’s Angel Investor of the Year. Event is taking place at the Training Room at CFDC at 1566 Seventh Avenue.

Saturday, 3-5 p.m. Coffee Talk with Randy Thompson

Innovation Central Society is hosting Thompson at a round table opportunity to ask the real deal your real questions. Come out and pick Randy’s brain and get some of your questions answered Event will take place at Coach’s Corner Pub in the Ramada Hotel.
