An incident of road rage was reported on Highway 16 Wednesday.
The incident started eight kilometres west of Prince George and ended at the highwayâs intersection with Vance Road, at around 10:30 p.m.
About eight kilometers west of Prince George a white hatchback car allegedly pulled in front of two men in an eastbound vehicle. When these two victims tried to pass the white car, they say it sped up, preventing them from completing the pass safely, and forced an oncoming vehicle onto the shoulder.
When the two vehicles came to a stop at a red light at the Vance Road intersection, a front passenger of the white car allegedly exited the vehicle and gestured that he wanted to fight the victims. The suspect then allegedly kicked the passenger side window of the victimâs car, breaking it. This is when the suspects and victims parted ways. The suspect that broke the window is described as a caucasian male, tanned, about 178 cm tall, skinny with long dirty blonde hair past his chin, and a five oâclock shadow. The driver of the suspect car was caucasian, about 178 cm tall with a heavy build and short hair.

A security guard at Good Time Bingo downtown said he was assaulted and threatened at 3:14 p.m. June 26. The suspect was a 30 year old man who was asked to leave after harassing patrons. He was located shortly after the incident, and police are asking crown to consider a charge of assault. Theyâve released the suspect, and asked him to not go to the bingo hall. The victimâs injuries were very minor and medical treatment was not required.

Police are stepping up patrols in the area of Westwood Elementary school in response to an incident of bear spraying June 26 at around 11:20 p.m. A group of seven people were at the schoolâs playground when they say a group of four native males, aged 13-17 came up to them. One of the suspects sprayed one of the individuals with bear spray, leading all four males to flee the scene. An ambulance attended the scene and decontaminated the victim, who was released at the scene. The victim says the attack was unprovoked.
