Man sentenced for sexual assault

In Prince George Provincial Court on December 18.
Michael K. Adey was sentenced to one day in jail, in addition to six days already served, and put on probation for 18 months for theft of property less than $5,000 in value. A similar sentence was given for assault and for uttering threats. A similar sentence, plus a five-year firearms prohibition was given on each of three counts of assaulting a peace officer.
Richard E. Beach was given a conditional discharge and put on probation for one year for assault.
Shayne D. Pilon was sentenced to one day in jail, ordered to pay $71 in restitution, and ordered to pay a $50 victim surcharge for theft of property under $5,000 in value.
Shaun R. Clauson was fined $1,000 and ordered to pay a $150 victim surcharge for unauthorized possession of a firearm.
In Prince George Provincial Court on December 19:
Vernon D. Baker was sentenced to one day in jail for breach of probation.
Jeremy M. George was sentenced to one day in jail, in addition to 45 days already served, and put on probation for one year for assault causing bodily harm.
Michael P. Norn was fined $100 for failing to comply with the conditions of an undertaking or recognizance.
Sheldon R. Stewart was sentenced to seven days in jail, in addition to 14 days already served, for breach of probation.
Jean P. Umphrey was fined $750 and is prohibited from driving for one year for impaired driving.
Elliot A. William was sentenced to one day in jail, in addition to 15 days already served, and put on probation for one year for breach of probation. William was also sentenced to one day in jail, in addition to 120 days already served, and put on probation for one year for mischief.
Kevan W. Yon was fined $900 and is prohibited from driving for one year for driving with a blood/alcohol reading over .08 milligrams.
Russell E. Auger was sentenced to two years in jail, less a day, and put on probation for two years for sexual assault. Auger was also sentenced to 30 days in jail for failing to comply with the conditions of an undertaking or recognizance.
Ronald J. French was ordered to post a $500 surety to keep the peace for one year.
In Prince George Provincial Court on December 20:
Brian E. Copeland was sentenced to 30 days in jail for breach of probation. Copeland was also sentenced to nine months in jail and put on probation for one year for breaking and entering and committing an indictable offence therein.
David W. Hale was ordered to post a $500 surety to keep the peace for one year.
Douglas W. Joseph was sentenced to 60 days in jail for breach of probation. Joseph was also sentenced to 96 days in jail, in addition to 24 days already served, for theft of property less than $5,000 in value.
David M. Ward was given a suspended sentence and put on probation for 18 months for assault.
In Prince George Provincial Court on December 24:
Marilyn I. Potskin was sentenced to 60 days in jail for breach of probation. A 90-day jail sentence was also given for forcible entry and another 90-day jail sentence for assault.
In Prince George Provincial Court on December 27:
Brian D. Hubbard was given a 90-day conditional sentence and put on probation for one year for possession of stolen property over $5,000 in value.
James R. Mackenzie was sentenced to 14 days in jail, put on probation for three years, and ordered to pay a $50 victim surcharge for possession of child pornography.
In Prince George Provincial Court on December 28:
Anthony R. Pixton was sentenced to 18 days in jail, in addition to six days already served, and put on probation for one year for breach of recognizance. A similar sentence was given for assault.
Steven J. Severight was sentenced to seven days in jail for breach of probation.
Tanya L. Crocker was given a conditional discharge and put on probation for one year for theft of property less than $5,000 in value.
