The University of Northern B.C. Timberwolves women’s basketball team knew heading into the season it was going to be hard. The T’wolves opened the season with two losses over the weekend at home.
The T’wolves dropped their opener 69-46 against the Capilano Blues. Which they followed up with a 68-45 loss against Langara Saturday night.
The T’wolves entered this season as a young team with six first year players. On top of that they were without key recruit Eisha Williams who is nursing a knee injury will be out of the line up for some time.
The T’wolves will now head off on the road and play two games on the island. On Friday night they will be at Camosun and Saturday in Malaspina.
“We’re heading down to the Island and I’m looking forward to it. It’s going to be a couple of good games. I’m looking to come out on top both nights,” said Murdoch.
