Where is open and honest government?
With at least two of Gordon Campbell’s New Era of Hope election promises he gets a failing grade.
Almost all of the new legislation that his government has put in place, especially with the privatization of BC Rail, was in no way open.
Gordon promised an open and honest government. For example on page 9 of his New Era of Hope he promised not to sell or privatize BC Rail.
How can the young and old electorate respect a man who will not even admit that he has deceived the people that he represents? At the very least, he should say that he just changed his mind or something like that.
Instead he continues to deny what the majority of the public knows – that he is a liar.
This government continues to mention the mistakes that the NDP had made. Well I am here to say that nothing that the NDP did wrong will compare to what this Liberal government has already done. They still have two years to continue to rape and sell off our children and our grand children’s heritage to his corporate friends and our so-called good neighbors down south.
Don’t forget the softwood lumber negotiations that have been going on for over a year with this good neighbor. Now this good neighbor owns our railway (not the track), just the railway and the profits that they produce.
I wonder how many young men want to be just like Premier Gordon Campbell?
