The Prince George Minor Hockey Association Annual General Meeting will be held on April 28 at the College of New Caledonia.
The meeting will start at 7 p.m. in the cafeteria.
The agenda includes the election of officers. Call the PGMHA office (563-0303) for further details on putting forth a special motion.
â ¤PGMHA office
April 11, the PGMHA office will be located on the bottom floor of the CN Centre. The office will be located in the CN Centre until mid-May at which time the office will be closed for the summer.
The office will reopen in the Kin Centre on August 30th.
â ¤BC Indoor Soccer League
The BC Indoor Soccer League Society will be holding its annual general meeting on May 3 at 7:30 p.m. The meeting will be held at the North Central Senior Soccer League club house. Agenda includes director’s reports, financial reports and the election of league official.
The Prince George Judo Open will be held on April 23. The event hosted by the PG Judo Club will be held at College Heights Secondary School. Competition will begin at 9 a.m.
â ¤Centennial Cup
Former Prince George Cougar Lee Zalasky lead they way with two goals and an assist as Team Alberta edged past Team Saskatchewan 7-5 at the 2005 Centennial Challenge in Lloydminster, Alberta.
Zalasky, who was captain of the team, was also named the game’s most valuable player.
Kyle Bailey on a line with Portland Winterhawks teammates Brian Woolger and Alex Aldred, scored twice for Alberta while Mark Fistric of the Vancouver Giants and Jonathan Filewich of the Lethbridge Hurricanes each scored once.
Kamloops Blazer Devan Dubnyk and Swift Current’s Kyle Moir split time in net.
Team Saskatchewan’s most valuable player was Winterhawks forward Dan DaSilva with a goal and two assists.
Moose Jaw forwards Justin Scott and Blair Jones, Spokane’s Joe Logan, and Swift Current Bronco Luke Hunter also scored for Team Saskatchewan.
Moose Jaw netminder Josh Lepp and Saskatoon Blades goaltender Russel Monette split goaltending duties.
