The latest addition to the Rockfest line-up is Vancouver acoustic rock band Stabilo Boss.
The four-member band has been playing the bar scene in the Greater Vancouver area for the last two years where it has developed a cult following that has extended south into Washington State and begun to pervade even local airwaves.
Stabilo Boss slides onto the slate for the fifth anniversary of Rockfest, August 2 to 4, which is already stacked with big names like Tom Cochrane, Trooper, The Stampeders, Glass Tiger with Alan Frew, Doug and the Slugs, Headstones, Matthew Good, and other regional bands.
Stabilo Boss will be a part of the Saturday line up, along with Juno nominee Marcel Gagnon and Matthew Good.
“It gives our Saturday a huge amount of depth,” said Stetson Productions spokesperson Ernest Martens, “With Marcel Gagnon, Stabilo Boss, Headstones and Matthew Good all performing that day. I am sure this will be one of the strongest contemporary rock days anywhere in the country.”
Rockfest tickets are now $140 for the weekend and can be purchased from Towne Ticket Centre, Sight and Sound in Prince George, Streamline Signs & Town Sound in Vanderhoof, or you can charge by phone at (250) 614-9100.
