CNC has chosen the Ramada as the official hotel sponsor for Culinary Team Canada’s stay in Prince George later this week.
Some of the best chefs in Canada will be stay at the Ramada before cooking at the sold out An Evening with the Masters fundraiser at CNC Oct. 21.
“We are so grateful to the Ramada for sponsoring Culinary Team Canada,” said Randall Heidt, CNC’s Executive Director External Relations. “Several hotels expressed interest in hosting the chefs, but it was the Ramada’s passion for the event and exceptionally renovated new rooms that made them the obvious choice for us.”
Culinary Team Canada will be fine-tuning their succulent creations on local food lovers, before heading to Switzerland for one of the most prestigious cooking competitions in the world. Prince George will be the smallest city in Canada to ever host Culinary Team Canada.
“This is obviously a very prestigious event for the city and we wanted to be a major part of it,” said Ramada General Manager Darren Aylward. “These are some of the best chefs in Canada and we figured it was only fitting that they stayed in the best accommodations in the city.”
The event begins Oct. 21 at 6 p.m. in the CNC Gathering Place (Atrium).
“We also liked the fact that the Ramada has an amazing international flavour among its staff, with new employees from Scotland, Japan, Wales, and the Netherlands. It’s really amazing how many new people the Ramada has brought to the community,” Heidt said.
