Man beaten with bat during home invasion
A 50-year-old Prince George man was taken to the hospital after being injured by a baseball bat during a home invasion police are describing as a targeted attack.
Just after 10 p.m. Oct. 10, the RCMP and an ambulance responded to the report of a home invasion on the 2000 block of Central Street East.
Investigators believe two men and one woman forcibly entered the man's home and assaulted him. Then they fled in a white pickup with a canopy which was located a few minutes later on the 3000 block of 18th Ave. All three suspects remain at large.
The condition of the victim is unknown, but a police press release states the injuries are believed to be non-life threatening.
