Prince George man missing

Police are asking the public's help in locating a Prince George man.

Gordon John Powell, 49, was reported missing on August 26, 2011 by his mother and sister. The family last saw Powell in mid-July, on a Sunday, when he left their Prince George home in his 1988 blue Mazda pickup (licence plate: DC5974).

Powell did not take any extra clothing, credit/debit cards or cell-phone, and made no comments regarding his possible destination. Family and friends have not seen or heard from Powell since.

He is described as ; Caucasian, 6’2,” 165 lbs, has green eyes and sandy blonde hair.

RCMP are asking anyone who may have seen POWELL or his vehicle to please contact the Prince George RCMP at (250)561-3300 or anonymously call Crime Stoppers at 1(800)222-TIPS (8477).
