Four vehicle fires in less than a week

Three vehicle fires have been reported in the city.

Two Ford F-350s were located abandoned and burned on the Stone Creek Forest Service Road, April 22. One is a 2003 brown F-350 Ford pickup, licence plate number BY-1447. This vehicle was reported stolen early last December from the 1000 Block Great Street in Prince George. The second truck is a 2006 gray F-350 Ford pickup, licence plate number 5453-KJ, reported stolen earlier this year out of Fort St. John.

A third vehicle was found burning outside the owner's residence in the 100 block of South Tabor Blvd.,at. 3:45 a.m. Thursday morning, April 28. This vehicle, a 1995 red Dodge Neon, licence plate number 829-PHB was completely destroyed. Police are still investigating as to a motive for this wanton vandalism. It is unknown, at this time, if this car fire is associated to the vehicle fires in the Fifth and Tabor area last week.
