B&E turned out to be drunks

Police went investigating a possible break and enter Tuesday afternoon, but discovered a couple of intoxicated men pushing and shoving each other.

The call came in at about 2:26 p.m. and police rushed to the 2400 block of Webber Crescent, where they found two men in front of the residence.

One of the men was carrying a knife. Both were lodged in cells until sober. A charge of causing a disturbance is being considered against a 22-year-old Burns Lake man, while charges of causing a disturbance and weapons offences are being considered against a 22-year-old man known to reside in both Takla Landing and Prince George.
