Jail for assault

In Provincial Court in Prince George on Dec. 15:

Justin L. Pierre was found guilty of assault causing bodily harm, sentenced to 107 days in jail, placed on probation for two years and received a lifetime prohibition on the possession of firearms. Pierre was also found guilty of possession of property obtained by crime, sentenced to 107 days in jail and placed on probation for two years.

Pierre was also found guilty of failing to comply with a condition of an undertaking or recognizance, sentenced to one day in jail and time served of 60 days and placed on probation for two years. Pierre was also found guilty of two counts of failing to comply with a condition of an undertaking, sentenced to one day in jail and placed on probation for two years.

Brian M. Visona was found guilty of driving without a proper licence, fined $500 (due March 15) and assessed a victim surcharge of $75 (due March 15). Visona was also found guilty of mischief, placed on probation for one year, ordered to make restitution of $500 and assessed a victim surcharge of $50 (due March 15).

Zane A.P. Envik was found guilty of operating a motor vehicle with a blood-alcohol reading over .08, fined $1,500 (due Nov. 15), assessed a victim surcharge of $225 (due Nov. 15) and prohibited from driving for three years.

Warren A. Bourgeois was found guilty of assault, assault causing bodily harm and two counts of failing to comply with a condition of an undertaking or recognizance, sentenced to one day in jail and placed on probation for two years.

Joseph D. West was found guilty of robbery, sentenced to four years in jail and time served of 26 days and received a lifetime prohibition on the possession of firearms.

Matthew N. Izony was found guilty of failing to comply with a condition of an undertaking and sentenced to 30 days in jail and time credited of 30 days.

Leslie L. Sluggett was found guilty of cutting, damaging or destroying Crown timber without authority, removing Crown timber without authority, and removing or transporting unscaled timber without a timber mark, ordered to make restitution of $8,000 and assessed a victim surcharge of $50 (due Nov. 15).

In Provincial Court in Prince George on Dec. 16:

Michael W.J. Wells was found guilty of failing to comply with a probation order, sentenced to 18 days in jail and ordered to pay $700 in restitution. Wells was also found guilty of a second count of failing to comply with a probation order and two counts of failing to comply with a condition of an undertaking or recognizance and sentenced to 18 days in jail.

Cyril A. Alec was found guilty of sexual assault, sentenced to one day in jail, placed on probation for five years and prohibited from possessing a firearm for five years.

Tyler L. Anderson was found guilty of mischief, sentenced to 60 days in jail and placed on probation for three years.

Leonard L. Wilson was found guilty of assault and sentenced to one day in jail.

In Provincial Court in Prince George on Dec. 17:

Lori Chew was found guilty of assault causing bodily harm, placed on probation for two years and prohibited from possessing firearms for 10 years.

In Provincial Court in Prince George on Dec. 20:

Jeremy L. Felix was found guilty of mischief, placed on probation for 12 months and assessed a victim surcharge of $50 (due Feb. 21).

Glen H. McFadden was found guilty of operating a motor vehicle while impaired, fined $1,000 (due Dec. 22, 2011), assessed a victim surcharge of $150 (due Dec. 22, 2011) and prohibited from driving for one year.

Randy E. Montgomery was found guilty of assault with a weapon and placed on probation for one year. Montgomery was also found guilty of failing to comply with a condition of an undertaking or recognizance and sentenced to one day in jail and time served of four days. Montgomery was also found guilty of failing to attend court when ordered to do so and fined $250 (due Aug. 31).

Shawn B. Prince was found guilty of failing to comply with a condition of an undertaking or recognizance, sentenced to two days in jail and time served of two days and assessed a victim surcharge of $50 (due Feb. 22).

Donavan H. Smith was found guilty of operating a motor vehicle while impaired, fined $1,000 (due Dec. 20, 2011), assessed victim surcharge of $150 (due Dec. 20, 2011) and prohibited from driving for one year.

In Provincial Court in Prince George on Dec. 21:

Tracy C. Casimel was found guilty of breach of recognizance, placed on probation for one year and assessed a victim surcharge of $50 (due Feb. 21).

Donald R. Fitzpatrick was found guilty of failing to comply with a probation order, sentenced to one day in jail and assessed a victim surcharge of $50 (due Feb. 21).

John W. Wolfe was found guilty of contravention of firearm storage regulations and prohibited from possessing firearms for 10 years.

Kurtis A.J. Zeliniski was found guilty of two counts of uttering threats, placed on probation for 18 months and assessed a victim surcharge of $50 (due Feb. 21).

Logan A. Peters was found guilty of failing to comply with a probation order and sentenced to 20 days in jail and time served of 20 days.

In Provincial Court in Prince George on Dec. 22:

Christifer L.E. Auger was found guilty of resisting a peace officer and three counts of theft of property with a value less than $5,000, sentenced to 90 days in jail and placed on probation for one year.

Lesley A. Braden was found guilty of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking and possession of a controlled substance and sentenced to 35 days in jail.

Timothy L. Bryce was found guilty of assault with a weapon, sentenced to 365 days in jail, placed on probation for 18 months and received a lifetime prohibition on the possession of firearms. Bryce was also found guilty of theft of property with a value less than $5,000, sentenced to 31 days in jail and placed on probation for 18 months. Bryce was also found guilty of a second count of theft of property with a value less than $5,000, sentenced to 365 days in jail and placed on probation for 18 months.

Robert J. Haines was found guilty of failing to comply with a condition of an undertaking or recognizance, sentenced to two days in jail and assessed a victim surcharge of $50 (due June 30).

Roger Mitchell was found guilty of assault, placed on probation for six months and assessed a victim surcharge of $50 (due Feb. 22).

Mark T. Poole was found guilty of two counts of failing to comply with a condition of an undertaking or recognizance and sentenced to one day in jail.

Richard J. Prince was found guilty of 11 counts of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking and two counts of weapons trafficking, placed on probation for two years and prohibited from possessing firearms for 10 years.

Jesse C. Vandergoes was found guilty of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking, sentenced to 12 months in jail and received a lifetime prohibition on the possession of firearms.

Steven G. Whaling was found guilty of resisting a peace officer, failing to comply with a condition of an undertaking or recognizance and failing to comply with a condition of an undertaking, sentenced to time served of seven days and time credited of seven days and placed on probation for one year.

In Provincial Court in Prince George on Dec. 23:

Aron L.G. Johnson was found guilty of possession of a controlled substance and failing to comply with a condition of an undertaking or recognizance and sentenced to one day in jail.

Cassandra C. Kale was found guilty of failing to comply with a condition of an undertaking or recognizance, sentenced to 14 days in jail and placed on probation for one year. Kale was also found guilty of three counts of failing to comply with a condition of an undertaking, sentenced to three days in jail and placed on probation for one year. Kale was also found guilty of mischief, sentenced to one day in jail and placed on probation for one year.

Kevin R. Lee was found guilty of assault, sentenced to four months in jail, placed on probation for one year and assessed a victim surcharge of $100 (due June 23).

In Provincial Court in Prince George on Dec. 24:

Nathan R. Field was found guilty of failing to comply with a probation order and two counts of theft of property with a value less than $5,000, sentenced to 45 days in jail and placed on probation for one year.

In Provincial Court in Prince George on Dec. 30:

Kyle J. Cardinal was found guilty of failing to produce a driver’s licence when ordered to do so, fined $1,000 (due June 30) and assessed a victim surcharge of $150 (due June 30).

In Provincial Court in Prince George on Dec. 31:

Peter A. Houston was found guilty of being in possession of an explosive substance without lawful excuse and possession of a weapon contrary to an order, sentenced to 247 days in jail and received a lifetime prohibition on the possession of firearms.

In Provincial Court in Prince George on Jan. 4:

Jaclyn Y. Andrews was found guilty of assault, placed on probation for one year and assessed a victim surcharge of $100 (due Jan. 31).

Russell J. Gaucher was found guilty of failing to comply with a probation order and fined $1,000 (due Aug. 31).

Wayne T. Jones was found guilty of operating a motor vehicle with a blood-alcohol reading over .08, fined $1,000 (due Aug. 31) and prohibited from driving for one year.

Christopher T. Needlay was found guilty of operating a motor vehicle with a blood-alcohol reading over .08, fined $1,100 (due Dec. 16) and prohibited from driving for one year. Needlay was also found guilty of a second count of operating a motor vehicle with a blood-alcohol reading over .08, fined $1,200 (due Dec 16) and prohibited from driving for one year. Needlay was also found guilty of driving while prohibited, fined $500 (due Dec. 16) and prohibited from driving for one year. Needlay was also found guilty of possession of stolen property with a value less than $5,000 and ordered to make restitution of $36.

Jennifer M. Racy was found guilty of operating a motor vehicle while impaired, fined $1,000 (due Jan. 3) and prohibited from driving for one year.

Lauran M. Rosenbaum was found guilty of operating a motor vehicle with a blood-alcohol reading over .08, fined $1,500 (due Aug. 31) and prohibited from driving for one year.

Sheldon Seymour was found guilty of being unlawfully in a dwelling-house and assault, placed on probation for two years and prohibited from possessing firearms for two years. Seymour was also found guilty of failing to comply with a condition of an undertaking or recognizance and sentenced to seven days in jail. Seymour as also found guilty of a second count of assault and a second count of failing to comply with a condition of an undertaking or recognizance and sentenced to 15 days in jail.

Kevan W. Yon was found guilty of assault causing bodily harm, placed on probation for one year, assessed a victim surcharge of $50 (due March 4) and prohibited from possessing firearms for three years.

In Provincial Court in Prince George on Jan. 5:

Cole M. Derkatch was found guilty of failing to comply with a condition of an undertaking and failing to attend court when ordered to do so and sentenced to one day in jail.

Christopher McMurray was found guilty of causing a disturbance, failing to comply with an appearance notice and two counts of theft of property with a value less than $5,000 and placed on probation for one year.

Cedric J. Myers was found guilty of failing to comply with a probation order, fined $500 (due Nov. 30) and assessed a victim surcharge of $75 (due Nov. 30).

Johnathan K. Hansen was found guilty of failing to comply with a probation order and sentenced to one day in jail.

In Provincial Court in Prince George on Jan. 6:

Trent Buss was found guilty of two counts of assault, placed on probation for one year and assessed a victim surcharge of $50 (due March 7).

In Provincial Court in Prince George on Jan. 7:

Justin D. Clements was found guilty of assault, sentenced to one day in jail, placed on probation for one year and assessed a victim surcharge of $100 (due Aug. 1). Clements was also found guilty of mischief, sentenced to one day in jail and assessed a victim surcharge of $50 (due Aug. 1). Clements was also found guilty of failing to comply with a condition of an undertaking or recognizance, sentenced to one day in jail and assessed a victim surcharge of $100 (due Aug. 1).

Kristopher E. Leclair was found guilty of assault, sentenced to three months in jail and placed on probation for one year.

George C. Marchbank was found guilty of operating a motor vehicle while impaired, assessed a victim surcharge of $50 (due May 15) and prohibited from driving for one year.

In Provincial Court in Prince George on Jan. 10:

Veronica R.M. Bock was found guilty of failing to comply with a probation order and sentenced to one day in jail.

David M. Lucas was found guilty of assault and assaulting a peace officer, sentenced to 180 days in jail, placed on probation for three years and prohibited from possessing firearms for 10 years. Lucas was also found guilty of two counts of failing to comply with a probation order and sentenced to 30 days in jail.

In Provincial Court in Prince George on Jan. 11:

Priscilla A. Felix was found guilty of theft of property with a value less than $5,000 and sentenced to one day in jail.

Robert F. Laliberte was found guilty of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle and fined $1,500 (due Jan. 12, 2012).

Gregory J. Matters was found guilty of uttering threats, placed on probation for 18 months and prohibited from possessing firearms for five years.

Clayton Mosionier was found guilty of theft of property with a value less than $5,000 and sentenced to 30 days in jail. Mosionier was also found guilty of two counts of failing to comply with a n undertaking or recognizance and sentenced to seven days in jail.

Autry J. Nilsen was found guilty of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, assessed a victim surcharge of $50 (due Feb. 28), placed on probation for 15 months and prohibited from driving for 15 months.

In Provincial Court in Prince George on Jan. 12:

Ronald J. Blanchard was found guilty of operating a motor vehicle while impaired, fined $500 (due Feb. 28) and assessed a victim surcharge of $75 (due Feb. 28).

Jason L. Campbell was found guilty of resisting a peace officer and failing to comply with a condition of an undertaking or recognizance and sentenced to one day in jail.

Gordon D. Fleming was found guilty of fraud and fined $5,000 (due April 30, 2012).

Gerald Gilbertson was found guilty of theft of property with a value less than $5,000 and two counts of use of a forged document and sentenced to three months in jail.

Joanne M. Sawchuk was found guilty of theft of property with a value less than $5,000 and sentenced to one day in jail.

Torres Diaz was found guilty of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking, placed on probation for 12 months and received a lifetime prohibition on the possession of firearms. Torres Diaz was also found guilty of possession of a controlled substance and placed on probation for 12 months.

Ryian T. Stoddart was found guilty of failing to comply with a condition of an undertaking or recognizance and sentenced to one day in jail.

Brian E. Copeland was found guilty of possession of a controlled substance and sentenced to five days in jail.

In Provincial Court in Prince George on Jan. 13:

Caylin Z.L. Bolin was found guilty of failing to produce a valid driver’s licence when ordered to do so and was sentenced to 14 days in jail, to be served intermittently.

Richard L. Joseph was found guilty of assault, sentenced to 14 days in jail and placed on probation for one year. Joseph was also found guilty of uttering threats and sentenced to one day in jail. Joseph was also found guilty of failing to comply with a condition of an undertaking and sentenced to 30 days in jail.

In Provincial Court in Prince George on Jan. 14:

David L. Franks was found guilty of failing to com-ly with a condition of an undertaking or recognizance and sentenced to one day in jail.

Andrew G. Nelson was found guilty of driving without due care and attention and fined $1,000 (due June 20).
