Police are continuing to investigate following a stabbing in the downtown core Saturday morning.
At 11:30 a.m. January 4, the Prince George RCMP received a report of a stabbing near the corner of Third Avenue and Dominion Street. Officers arrived on scene and located a 34-year-old Prince George man suffering from apparent stab wounds. The victim was transported by the BC Ambulance Service to the University Hospital of Northern BC for treatment of his injuries.
A 23-year-old Prince George man was arrested near the scene and is currently in custody.
The victim remains in serious condition in hospital.
