One person is in hospital and the Prince George RCMP are currently investigating a “violent offence” in Prince George Sunday.
At approximately 10:30 a.m. on March 22, the Prince George RCMP and other emergency services were called to a report of a man down on the corner of Fifth Avenue and Gillett Street.
Officers arrived and found man with serious injuries. The man has been transported by the BC Ambulance Service to the University Hospital of Northern BC with life threatening injuries. Foul play is suspected.
The Detachment’s Serious Crime and Forensic Identification Sections have been called in and Fifth Avenue was closed for a good portion of Sunday.
