The Prince George Native Friendship Centre will be holding a ground breaking celebration for its new Ketso Yoh building tomorrow.
Ketso Yoh has operated in Prince George at 160 Quebec Street since 1989 as an emergency shelter program for men, with the incorporation of supportive recovery beds and transitional housing in 2008. This program has, and continues to, operate a diverse range of services offering unique and best-practices programming for vulnerable men in our community who are experiencing homelessness. The centre incorporates culturally-driven approaches to engaging and helping those men in need. Its diverse and culturally responsive services target areas of emergency shelter, food security, outreach and drop-in services, life skill development, case planning and various other supports.
