In 2010, I wrote to the Ministry of Environment questioning them regarding rumours of reduced hunting for residents and increased hunting for non-residents, in other words, decreasing the limited entry hunting for residents. I was assured that this was not even on the radar
In April of most years I have lived in Prince George, I have purchased a hunting license along with at least four tags.
This year I will be ceasing that practice and will take my hunting to Alberta or Saskatchewan. I would rather pay as a tourist than pay for the tourists. BC Environment is now the “ministry that keeps taking.”
