Vote Date Set
Lheidli T’enneh band members will decided whether to accept a new treaty March 30, 2007.
“This voting day is the culmination of 13 years of negotiations towards a final agreement for the Lheidli T’enneh,” Michael Bozoki, representative for Lheidli T’enneh on the Ratification Committee, said in a press release. “The Community Treaty Council has announced the threshold for approval to be 70 per cent of those persons who cast ballots.”
Individuals must complete an Enrolment Application to be placed on the Official Voters List. Applications may be obtained by calling 1-877-963-8451.

A 44-year-old Prince George man was arrested at 6:30 a.m. Christmas Day, in connection with several crimes. At approximately 5:30 a.m., someone broke into the Gustafson Kia car dealership and stole the keys to a truck. The suspect then drove the stolen truck through the glass plate windows of Sears, loaded the truck with stolen goods and drove away. The suspect then ditched the truck and broke into First on Queensway Auto Sales.
, where he stole the keys for another vehicle.
Police caught up with the suspect at the car dealership and arrested him.
