Now that an election campaign is underway, it would be a good time to have a history lesson:
Remember the premier who represents us was DUI in Hawaii and didn’t resign for poor judgment?
Remember the employee contracts that were ripped up?
Remember when teacher collective bargaining handcuffed by back to work legislation?
Remember when Pat Bell voted against raising minimum wage while owning a Wendy’s and paying minimum wages to employees (conflict of interest)?
Remember that Shirley Bond forces FSA testing on schools to rank them and attack students’ self esteem? (Can she name one positive thing that has come about from FSAs?)
Remember that Shirley Bond is now legislating that kids have to be physically active, knowing that it is an impossible task for schools to manage, police and assess. Doomed to fail from the beginning.
Remember the bragging of our current government about the boom times under their leadership, as if they could control the commodities markets that drive our economy.
Let’s hope history doesn’t repeat itself.
